Now under new ownership, The Inn at St. John's is rebranding as Saint John's Resort, formally adopting its new name Friday and detailing plans for $40 million in improvements to the nearly 75-year-old property in Plymouth.
“It’s really allowing us to take the property to a new level,” said Paul Wegert, the resort's managing director, discussing the latest chapter for a facility that has undergone plenty of changes over the years. “… it’s going to be great for weddings, but also allow us to attract larger corporate events that come from different areas," Wegert said. Corporate functions make up 50% of the resort's revenue, and new ballroom will allow space for groups three times bigger than what the resort could previously service.
